Lead is only to be used when there is no previous information available on a customer, and we are looking to start business with them. Use the Global Search Function to determine if there is anything already created in Arcadium.


Find the Lead you need to update with activities.


If the Lead is already assigned to you, it should appear in your Sales Account Dashboard under the MY LEADS panel. 


Select the “Actions” tab near the middle of the screen on the left side. 


If there is a blank space as shown in Figure A, right click. Here you will see a menu populate.Select “Insert new record.”



If there is no blank space showing, hover over the actions tab to see the “+” symbol. Selecting this will bring you to a new chapter, the Call Report Chapter.



A new box will appear. Enter as much information as you can to document the type of interaction you had with the customer.



Natue: Is the Type of interaction you had

Status: Will automatically assign as Done (meaning this activity has been completed in the past) If you wish to schedule a future follow up, change this to “To Do”

Owner: Will automatically make the user the Owner, but you are able to use the 3 dots to assign yourself

Starting Date and Ending Date: Will automatically assign to the date of entry. 

Subject: What was discussed during the interaction Be specific in this section including dates, unit, type of conversation, and who you spoke with.


**The SUBJECT line should be completed with a summary and specific information as it displays on your dashboard as shown below. This allows you to avoid having to click into each action in the future when you are trying to look back as a reference.





If you are scheduling a future action, choose the Nature of the interaction whether it is a Phone Call or Email.

Make sure to change the Status to “To Do” 

Change the Starting Date to the date you would like to schedule your Follow Up.

To do this, select the three dots at the right of the field. A calendar will appear, select the date, and the calendar will disappear, populating the date in to the field.

Once you have your Details noted, click Save.



The Lead page will refresh, and will now show all entries you have made including the To Do Action you have scheduled for a future date.
