Make sure the status is set to “To Do,” and find the “Assigned To” field. Use the three dots to the right to select the individual you want to Assign to the Call Report/Activity.
A new box will appear, and you can either scroll down, or enter the name of the intended assignee in the Search field.
Keep an eye on the “Selected” tab to ensure there are no others assigned to the Call Report/Activity. If there is, make sure to clear the Search field, and click “Selected”
TIP: This Call Report/Activity will display on the Sales Account Dashboard for anyone that is selected. To remove any individuals, simply click on each name to remove the blue highlight and/or checkbox.
When the correct individuals are under the Selected tab, you are ready to Save.
The individual(s) assigned to the Call Report/Activity will determine the Task Type Options you are able to assign. Each Task Type is broken down by the Department of the assigned individual. This can always be changed later, but make sure to be as close as possible to the type of follow up or activity you are assigning.
Once you are ready, save your work by selecting the save icon.
At this point, the Call Report/Activity will generate on the Owner and Assigned To individual(s) “Sales Account Dashboard, under the TODO 7 Days in Future - 60 Days in Past Panel for anything that is within the next 7 days, or anything not marked Done going 60 days in the past.
When the Call Report/Activity has been completed and is marked DONE, the task will disappear from your To Do panel, and will move to your My Most Recent Actions panel.
