You cannot merge 2 customer accounts in Arcadium without approval from the AR department. One account will need to be Inactivated in Karmak/Fusion. One or both accounts should be a PROS account when merging.
When merging a Customer and a PROS account, you must keep the Customer account and discard the PROS account.
Navigate to the Customer Chapter, and clear your page by double clicking Search Mode (F7)
Once cleared, enter the name of the business that is associated with both accounts that need to be merged in the “Name” field. *Make sure to have the wildcard (%) before and after the entry
Single click Search (F4) to populate your results
Single click in the blank white space located to the left of the first customer.
Hold CTRL on your keyboard. In the blank white space located to the left of the second customer, click. Both customers will appear BOLDED. These are the customers you have selected to merge.
Still in the blank white space to the left of the customer names, right click. A menu will appear. Select “Merge records”
A new box will appear displaying the customers selected. The customer in BLUE will be the customer you are keeping.
To change this, click on the header of the customer you want to keep. Select the Checkbox for the other customer(s) in order to have the accounts removed.
Go through line by line to see if there is missing information in the customer you will keep to have it populated with the information from the account you are removing. Anything that is highlighted in BLUE will be the information that stays in the merged account.
Make sure to go through the entire list. At the bottom, you will select OK when completed.
Wait a moment as this will take some time to update. Your page will refresh. The previously checkmarked account will disappear, and you will be left with the highlighted account.
The process has been completed and you are all set.
