Locate PROS account under Customer Chapter and clear page of any results by double clicking (or select F7 on keyboard) Search Mode.


Using the information you have, enter data in the specific field using the wildcard (%) placed before and afterkeyword/ phrase.



Single click on Search (or select F4 on keyboard)


If multiple results are displayed, determine if any of the accounts are able to be merged together. See instructions here for How to Merge


Select the specific customer you need.

(If only one option is available, the customer will auto populate)


Complete as much information as possible on the DMS Address tab including:


  • Control Branch

    • Specific branch completing most activity with customer

  • Payment Terms

    • If unknown, select COD-Due Upon Receipt

  • Bill To Tax Body

  • Tax Status

    • If unknown, select Taxable

  • Base Branch

    • Unless otherwise specified, always select Hart-JX Enterprises, Inc

To save any updated information, select Save (or select F10 on keyboard)

Locate the “Insert into DMS” function.



If an error message appears, enter all data needed to proceed.

After all missing information has been entered, Save again.

Page will refresh with saved information.


Select Insert into DMS on General tab.


The Customer Code will update to the PROS information and is replaced with the assigned Customer Number.



If you do not have permissions in Karmak/Fusion, you will need to email David Menke to switch the account to AR in order to process the customer.
