The following steps might correct issues with the following:

  • Airpods, Airpods Pros, or any Bluetooth Headsets that do not connect after disconnecting from a meeting and then joining another meeting shortly after the previous meeting.
  • Bluetooth or Other Headset Volume issues.
  • Only a blank white screen shows up when opening the RingCentral application.
  • Ability to change background in video meetings is grayed out.


Clear Cached Data of the RingCentral Desktop App


This is caused by corrupted cache stored for the RingCentral app for desktop. 

  1. Sign in to the RingCentral app for desktop, then press Ctrl + Shift + D (for Windows) or Command + Shift + D (for macOS). This will reveal the Development menu .

  2. Click Development menu > Toggle DevTools .

  3. Click the arrows at the right-hand corner, then select Application .  

    select Application

  4. Click Storage > Clear site data .
    Click Storage > Clear site data. 

  5. Restart the RingCentral app for desktop, and log back in.


Reset App Data in RingCentral Desktop App

This is another troubleshooting step to take if the above one didn't resolve the issue.

  1. In the toolbar at the top of the RingCentral desktop application, click Help, hover over Troubleshooting, and click Reset App Data
  2.  Restart the RingCentral app for desktop, and log back in.
