All of the headsets that were provided by IT are "plug and play". There should not be any additional configuration necessary.

If you're having issues with your headset, use the following troubleshooting steps:

Changing the Audio Settings in the RingCentral Desktop Application

Once logged into the RingCentral desktop client, you can change the audio settings in the Settings section.

The headsets that were provided are named the following:

  • Huakua M7 - Manual: https://manuals.plus/huakua/m7-mono-wireless-headset-manual#axzz7j14IJK6X
    • "USB Dongle"
    • Connecting
      • You have to plug the headset and the dongle in to the computer at the same time,

the headset has to be on the dock first, and then you can plug it in

    • To Reset the Pairing Record:

      • In the pairing mode (The indicator of the headset flashes in red & blue alternately), press and hold the multi-function button and volume button for 5 seconds simultaneously, to clear the pairing record(reset the headset)

        • When the purple indicator light flashes once, that means the pairing record has been cleared and M7 will be not reconnected to the previously connected device automatically
