Adding a Non-Billable Comment to a Technician Time Record

 

Non-Billable comments can only be added to completed technician time records for tasks that have a non-billable repair type.

 

 The main tip I have for the user is to make sure to select the "Edit" button in the toolbar before clicking the "Non-Billable Comment" hyperlink. This enables the user to enter their comment in the "Comment Entry" form.   

Step 1:

Select the Service side tab.

Step 2:

Select the Service Management bar panel.

Step 3:

Select Technician Time Search from the tree view, displaying the SV14800 Technician Time Search form.

Step 4:

Enter any necessary search criteria to locate the desired technician time record.

Step 5: 

Select the Find button in the toolbar. 

 

 



Step 6:

Double-click the technician time record you wish to add a non-billable comment to in the data grid to display the SVO94800 Technician Time Maintenance form.

Step 7:

Select the Edit button in the toolbar.

 

 

 

Step 8:

Select the Non-Billable Comment hyperlink to display the Comment Entry form.

 

ProTip: The form will be named “Comment Required” if the Require Technician Comment check box is selected in SVM93950 Repair Type Maintenance.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 9:

Enter your comment in the text box.

Select the Save button on the form.
