For UPS Account Requests:

The request generally needs to come from the person's manager, and the request will need to contain: first & last name, email address, and position as permissions are set up based on their role. Joe Yearous would be the main point of contact to set up these users.

Plug the printer into the PC, then run the install for the printer driver. During install it will ask what port this printer is currently connected to. You can open the printer properties through control panel and view it there

NOTE: The computer that the UPS printer is attached to needs to have Java installed.

Once the printer is installed, you may need to change the user's preferences in campusship.ups.com:

Install the UPS Thermal Printer Driver using the steps previously provided on this page
Log in to ups.com
Mouse over the Shipping tab at the top of the page and select Set Preferences in the drop-down menu
Note: If you are a CampusShip user, click the My Settings button and select Edit Shipping Preferences
Select View/Edit in the Printing Preferences section
Click the thermal label check boxes:
- Use my thermal printer to print labels
- Use my UPS thermal printer to print receipts

To make the printing work, the UPS Printing App on the Computer needs to be opened, so it is running in the background.

If UPS App is not running in the background, printing will not work
